A Day in The Life
In order to capture PTC’s dedication to career success in action, we followed several alumni through a normal day in their lives. The subjects were mic’d up and the cameras were rolling as they made breakfast, brought us along for their morning commute and welcomed us into their workplace. Through this intimate process we explored their lives, met their families and witnessed, first hand, the impact that PTC had on them.
Expanding the Story
This same approach was used to explore the program from the eyes of the alumni’s employers and the Career Services team. Looking beyond just the original subjects allowed the story to extend with multiple perspectives on each student’s success. We got to hear why their managers believe PTC helped train them to be exceptional employees and how hard the Career Services team works to assist their success.
From start to finish, PTC's Day in the Life video series with our alumni progressed and came to life flawlessly. That's not something I say flippantly. The Foothold team steadfastly remained in the weeds with me, right from beginning. From strategy and storytelling to interviewing candidates to managing the details of the shoot over a period of weeks to editing the substantive number of versions: Whew. Zack, Director, made our alumni and Career Services staff feel comfortable on the shoot so they could open up and speak from their hearts and minds. Management, production, and editing teams worked their magic. That's not easy to do. But Foothold did it, beautifully.

Brand Photography Refresh
In addition to creating the video campaign, PTC also needed a complete refresh on their brand photography. With ongoing marketing efforts such as direct mail, social content, e-mail, and website updates the need for a library of visual assets was clear. Utilizing students as talent and working closely with the marketing team we coordinated a three day shoot that covered the whole campus, both inside and out.
